Proven experience as a Payroll Specialist or Payroll Officer, with 3-5 years of direct, relevant experience in payroll processing and administration.
  • Proficiency in end-to-end payroll processing, including calculating wages, deductions, and taxes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Singaporean labor laws and regulations.
  • Familiarity with various payroll software; experience with [mention specific software if known, e.g., SAP, Infotech, or local Singaporean payroll systems] is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of payroll-related compliance, including CPF contributions, IRAS submissions, and other statutory requirements.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping for all payroll-related information.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in both English and Mandarin, both written and verbal, to liaise with employees, management, and external agencies.
  • A Diploma in a relevant field such as Human Resources, Business Administration, or Accounting is required.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently in a remote work environment.
  • Discretion and the ability to handle sensitive employee information with confidentiality.
  • Process full-cycle payroll accurately and efficiently for all employees, ensuring compliance with local labor laws and regulations.
  • Manage and maintain employee payroll records, including new hires, terminations, and changes in compensation or benefits.
  • Prepare and submit payroll-related reports to management and relevant government agencies.
  • Reconcile payroll discrepancies and resolve any payroll-related issues or inquiries from employees.
  • Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave management, ensuring accurate deductions and contributions.
  • Stay updated on changes in payroll legislation and best practices to ensure continuous compliance and optimize payroll processes.
  • Collaborate with HR and Finance departments to ensure seamless integration of payroll data and accurate financial reporting.
