Online Merchandising Manager - Sports & Lifstyle New

COMPANY OVERVIEW

An international sports fashion retailer is seeking an Online Merchandising Manager to be based at its Malaysia operations. This role is responsible for managing day‑to‑day eCommerce merchandising activities, optimizing product assortments and on‑site performance, ensuring strong visual presentation, driving sales growth, and delivering a seamless online customer experience aligned with brand standards.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Daily and Weekly trading analysis. Providing insights and actions to improve performance.
• Analyse customer behaviour and conversion trends to determine healthy inventory, range and product availability
• Working with the regional branch and local Buying and Merchandising teams to plan seasonal product allocations, review previous season and capture lessons learned
• Identify underperforming lines and categories and propose actions to improve sell through online
• Review site analytics and propose products to be promoted across all marketing channels
• Prepare and launch high profile products and ensure they are live on site for the stated time
• Responsible for product pricing on the website and overseeing product enrichment
• Identify stock opportunities to increase stock allocation for online meets optimal cover
• Ad hoc analysis
• Managing site issues from identifying problems through to resolution

• Prior experience within a similar Online Merchandising role
• At least 3 years’ experience in Merchandising
• Merchandising software and online merchandising tools such as FredHopper or Algolia and Shopify
• Product Information Management tools like Akeneo
• Comprehensive understanding of Excel
• Strong understanding of MY & SG demographics
• Experience is using Google Analytics (GA4), building custom reports and interpreting data.
• Sneaker knowledge desirable
