Bag Making Operator

• Experience in manufacturing or machine operation will be an added advantage.
• Willing to work in a manufacturing/production environment.
• Physically fit and able to handle manual tasks.
• Responsible, disciplined, and able to follow safety procedures.

Converting Operator I plays an important role within the Converting team. This role supports the operations of the Converting Department by preparing machines before operation and ensuring the correct type and quantity of materials and packaging materials are used according to the Work Order.

This role also ensures that the products produced meet the Work Order requirements in terms of quality, quantity, and productivity. In addition, the role supports non-operational activities within the Converting Department, such as maintaining a safe and healthy working environment and ensuring all records are properly maintained.

• Read and understand Work Order requirements related to packaging, box configuration, labels, and special instructions before starting machine setup.
• Ensure the correct type and quantity of materials are available and ready for production.
• Set up the L-Bar sealer when required.
• Arrange bags and perform packing into boxes according to requirements.
• Start and stop the machine as required during operations.
• Adjust the front stacking roller and stack spacing accordingly.
• Perform any other related duties as assigned by management.
