About Us:

Berjaya CKE Group is a prominent manufacturer of commercial kitchen equipment in Malaysia, with 45 years of experience in the industry. We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented student to join our Finance Department for their mandatory industrial training placement.

Important Note: This placement begins strictly in June 2026. Please ensure your university timeline aligns before applying.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Backlog Management: Ensure the complete and timely processing of backlog transactions covering sales revenue, credit notes, purchases, and inventories.
  • Data Verification: Perform thorough checks, calculations, and structured reconciliation of financial data.
  • Costing Adjustments: Perform accurate cost adjustments and revisions for designated product codes.
  • Period-End Support: Provide operational support to the finance team during the crucial month-end closing process.
  • Clerical Duties: Handle administrative tasks including preparing, typing, filing documents, searching for invoices, and arranging paperwork for management signatures.
  • Ad-Hoc Support: Perform other duties as assigned to support the daily operational needs of the finance department.

Job Requirements

Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Must be able to start in June 2026 for a duration of 3 to 6 months.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for calculations and data filtering.
  • High attention to detail, strong numerical accuracy, and an organized approach to clerical tasks.
  • Good written and spoken communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
