Job description:

Requirements
  • Preferable with a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in business, interior design, or quantity surveyor.
  • Minimum 3 years of procurement experience in the Interior Design industry.
  • Good written and verbal communication and negotiation skills.
  • Great organizational and planning skills.
  • The ability to follow client specifications.
  • Able to read and write in Mandarin as this position required to travel and liaison with China Market.
Responsibility
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with the company's goals and objectives, considering factors such as cost savings, quality improvement, and supplier relationship management.
  • Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate terms and conditions, and manage relationships with key vendors. Foster strong partnerships to ensure reliable and consistent supply of goods and services.
  • Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms, pricing, and delivery schedules. Ensure contracts are comprehensive, legally sound, and in line with company policies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve supply chain efficiency, reduce lead times, and minimize inventory levels while maintaining product availability.
  • Develop and manage the procurement budget, tracking expenses and identifying opportunities for cost savings without compromising quality or delivery.
  • Identify potential risks within the supply chain and implement strategies to mitigate disruptions. Develop contingency plans to address unforeseen issues.
  • Continuously review and refine procurement processes to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance. Implement best practices and innovative solutions to drive improvements.
  • Lead and mentor a team of procurement professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback. Foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
