Monroe Consulting Group, an Executive Recruitment firm, is partnering with an organisation in the Information Technology industry to hire a Product Manager. This opportunity is based in Kuala Lumpur.
Position Overview
This role is responsible for driving the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from customer research through to product delivery and marketing.The position plays a critical role in shaping product strategy, enhancing user experience, and supporting business growth through innovation.
Key Responsibilities- Define product vision and roadmap, prioritizing features aligned with user needs, business goals, and market opportunities.
- Conduct user research and testing to uncover pain points and collaborate with designers to create intuitive user experiences
- Identify gaps & opportunities to improve products, features & offerings
- Lead development of clear product requirements and user stories to guide engineering on what to build
- Analyze usage data to track adoption, engagement, and improvement areas
- Work closely with:
- Marketing to hit customer acquisition goals and targets
- Engineers, designers, and testers to define features, write specs, user stories, create wireframes and prototypes
- Customer-facing team to handle product related queries and integrate customer feedback into product requirements
Lead, train and mentor the Product team towards a customer-driven product culture while managing team budget
Key RequirementsQualifications & Experience
- Completed tertiary education in a related programme
- Minimum 3 years of experience in leadership role(s) within financial service sector
- Proven track record in developing, growing and launching mobile app products & features
- Experience in developing and growing mobile app products
- Proficiency in using tools to manage the product development lifecycle (e.g. Jira in an AGILE environment)
- Proficiency in MS Office and Google Suite
- Strong capability across customer research, UX discovery, sprint planning, project management and product marketing
- Experience analysing usage data to track adoption, engagement, and improvement areas
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to present analysis results to Senior Management
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with marketing, engineering, design, and customer-facing teams
- Leadership capability to guide, mentor and develop product teams
- Strategic thinking combined with hands-on execution ability
