We are seeking a reliable and hands-on IT Technician to support installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of IT, electrical wiring, and audio-visual (AV) systems. The successful candidate will be involved in on-site deployment projects, particularly for education, corporate, and training environments.
- Diploma in Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Electronic / Electrical or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years working experience
- Knowledge of electrical wiring, structured cabling, and safety practices
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be computer literate (Microsoft Excel, Word & PowerPoint and basic graphical software).
- Possess strong analytical, interpersonal, communication and design skills.
- Willing to travel and perform on-site work
- Technical knowledge and experience in Switches, Router and Firewall will be a plus.
- Perform Electrical wiring, cabling, and power setup for IT and AV equipment
- Install, configure, and test audio-visual systems (e.g. displays, projectors, speakers, microphones, interactive panels)
- Perform regular maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of computer equipment
- Computer hardware/networking troubleshooting skills
- Assist in the installation, testing, and commissioning of new systems and equipment
- Provide technical support and advice to clients
- Support sales team for product demonstration, training, POC
- Must be result-orientated and able to work extra hours to meet deadlines.
