A. Strategic Tour Product Development
- Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in tour product development, travel planning, or tourism industry.
- Strong knowledge of travel destinations, tourism trends, and itinerary planning.
- Experience in costing, pricing strategy, and supplier negotiation.
- Strong analytical thinking and creativity in product development.
- Good communication, coordination, and project management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Travel Advance System (TAS) and other travel systems is an advantage.

ROLE SUMMARY
Responsible for leading the strategic design, development, and lifecycle management of competitive, profitable, and experience-driven tour products aligned with market trends, customer expectations, and company growth objectives.A. Strategic Tour Product Development
- Design and develop end-to-end domestic and international tour portfolios (FIT, GIT, corporate, premium, thematic, niche).
- Create immersive experience-based itineraries (culture, halal tourism, wellness, adventure, educational, MICE).
- Develop travel products aligned with market positioning.
- Structure tour frameworks include route optimization, experience flow, time efficiency, and risk mitigation.
- Conduct periodic product audits and refresh outdated offerings.
- Ensure scalability, operational feasibility, and profitability of tour products.
- Develop costing structures including land cost, margin strategy, commission, and pricing models.
- Establish tiered pricing strategies (economy, premium, luxury).
- Monitor contribution margin, profitability, and break-even thresholds.
- Conduct market research on global tourism trends, customer behavior, and competitor offerings.
- Develop annual product roadmap aligned with company strategy.
- Build and maintain supplier ecosystem (hotels, airlines, transport providers, DMCs, attractions).
- Negotiate contracts and service level agreements.
- Conduct site inspections and product validation trips.
- Monitor supplier performance and diversify sourcing to reduce risk.
- Prepare product briefs, costing sheets, and sales kits.
- Train sales and operations teams on product features and value propositions.
- Ensure regulatory compliance (visa, insurance, halal certification, safety standards).
- Support marketing and sales teams with product positioning and promotional content.
- Track product KPIs (gross margin, booking conversion, customer satisfaction, repeat purchase rate).
- Analyze post-tour feedback and implement improvements.
- Conduct quarterly product performance reviews.
- Act as product innovation champion.
- Mentor junior product executives.
- Foster collaboration across Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams.
- Maintain strong destination intelligence and industry awareness.
