Education Level:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field.
Experience:
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in HR Generalist roles, preferably within the manufacturing or retail sector.
Skills & Certifications:
- Proficiency in TIMETEC (Payroll & Attendance).
- Strong knowledge of Malaysia Employment Act.
- Excellent communication in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Physical Demands and Environment:
- Standard office environment.
- Ability to handle high-volume administrative tasks and employee interactions.
Functional / Operational Responsibilities:
- End-to-End Recruitment
- Source, screen, and interview candidates.
- Manage job postings across platforms such as JobStreet and Telegram to fulfill workforce requirements.
- Payroll & Benefits
- Manage accurate payroll processing using TIMETEC.
- Handle employee benefits including health insurance, leave, and bonuses.
- Onboarding & Compliance
- Conduct new hire onboarding processes.
- Ensure HR practices comply with Malaysia Labour Laws and company policies.
- Employee Relations
- Handle employee grievances and conduct exit interviews.
- Maintain HR documentation, contracts, and employee records.
Strategic Responsibilities:
- Performance Management
- Collaborate with department heads to set KPIs and goals.
- Implement and monitor performance appraisal systems.
- Culture & Engagement
- Organize employee engagement activities to improve morale and promote a positive company culture.
- HR Analytics
- Prepare reports on employee turnover, engagement, and training effectiveness.
- Identify areas for HR process improvement.
