Experience: 2–4 years in Business Development or Sales within the IT/Digital/Website Agency sector.

  • Bahasa Melayu: Fluent written and spoken.
  • Mandarin/Cantonese: Fluent written and spoken (To support HK/SG regions sales).
  • Administrative Discipline: Proven experience using CRM tools (e.g., Hubspot, or similar) to manage a sales funnel. You must be comfortable with regular reporting and data-driven sales tracking.
  • Mobility & Professionalism: Able to do on-site client visits within the Klang Valley.
  • Sales Prowess: A "hunter" mindset with the ability to navigate complex decision-making processes and follow through until the payment is collected.
  • Technical Literacy: Comfortable discussing web technologies (CMS, Frameworks, API integrations, Servers) with client.

Role Overview

As the Business Development Executive, you will help to establish our brand and market presence in Malaysia. You will drive the entire front-end sales lifecycle—from lead generation and strategic pitching to closing deals.

You will act as a consultant for clients in the Private, Government (GLC), and NGO sectors. This role requires a blend of local cultural fluency, technical literacy, and disciplined administrative reporting.

Job Descriptions
  • Market Acquisition: Identify and penetrate new business opportunities in Malaysia, specifically targeting Corporate, Government, and NGOs.
  • Sales Performance: Meet and exceed the sales targets/KPIs as set by management to drive revenue growth.
  • Client Engagement (Online & On-site): Lead professional consultations and presentations. This includes online or on-site meetings within Malaysia.
  • CRM & Reporting: Maintain high standards of data integrity by regularly updating deal statuses, meeting notes, and lead progression in the CRM and report to management. You will provide management with clear visibility into the Malaysian sales pipeline.
  • Regional Support: Assist with sales inquiries and activities for the Singapore and Hong Kong regions via online platforms as required.
  • Strategic Pitching: Consult with clients to understand their digital needs (Web, eCommerce, UI/UX) and propose tailored technical solutions.
  • Tender & Proposal Prep: Prepare quotations and formal tender documents to aim to get the projects.
  • Commercial Relationship Management: Maintain oversight of the project’s by ensuring clients fulfill their commitment to agreed payment milestones. You will manage the high-level financial relationship to ensure project momentum and successful account closure.
  • Lead Handover: Successfully close deals and ensure a smooth handover to our Project teams.
